From Dreading Sales to Enrolling Premium Clients Authentically
In 2013, I gave up trying to figure things out on my own and started investing in business training with big-name coaches. But their trainings didn’t work for me because their strategies for marketing and sales – especially sales – made my skin crawl.
There was no way I was going to scare or shame people into buying from me.
And every program I invested in was the same: sleazy pushy tactics to get sales.
Yuck! I knew I was a fantastic coach but I gave up on my coaching business because I refused to make money if I had to manipulate people to do it. In 2019, I had an epiphany while working as a chauffeur and running my limo company: anything I did that was NOT coaching was a waste of my gifts and abilities.
And to live my dream of being a coach, I was going to have to figure out a way of selling that didn’t make me want to vomit.
In the Spring of 2020, I perfected a way of doing sales calls that felt natural, comfortable, and required zero pressure.
And I started making sales!
My close rate went from 10% to 70% and for the first time, I was able to sell at high-ticket rates!
Although I’d never considered being a business coach, I realized that the best way for me to make the biggest impact was to teach other high-integrity biz owners how to sell!
